Koch Cabinets receives Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association (KCMA).

(Seneca, KS, March 28, 2008) Koch Cabinets, the cabinet division of Koch and Company headquartered in Seneca, Kansas received the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association (KCMA) today. The KCMA developed the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) to encourage practices that benefit the environment and society. The voluntary program gives cabinet manufacturers a way to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and helps you identify products that are better for your home, your family and the environment.

The ESP certification was awarded for Koch Cabinets’ Classic and Imperial construction series and highlights Koch’s environmentally minded manufacturing processes.

While honored to join the many other cabinet manufactures who have received the ESP certification for their Classic and Imperial series, Koch is even prouder of their GREEN series cabinetry. The Koch GREEN series product line has been developed in an effort to go beyond just demonstrating a commitment to sustainability in manufacturing processes and show our environmental commitment in our actual product. The Koch GREEN series is constructed from rapidly renewable, no added urea formaldehyde wheat board and domestic hardwoods with an array of low-to-no VOC stains and topcoats.
